Kettle Creek Food Truck Festival

Market Vendor Registration

  1. The Kettle Creek Food Truck Festival will take place at Dan Patterson Conservation Area, 44014 Mapleton Line, St Thomas, ON N5P 3T3 on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
  2. The visitor/vendor/exhibitor hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  3. Vendors/exhibitors must adhere to the event opening and closing times. Booths must remain open and staffed through the entire event. Set-Up time is Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  4. The event will go on rain or shine. No rain dates will be set.
  1. The cost to attend as a vendor is $100 made payable to Kettle Creek Environmental Trust.
  2. A 10×10 Exhibitor/Vendor space will be assigned by event organizers.
  3. A floor plan/map will be sent to vendors and exhibitors in advance, KCET will determine final placement of vendors and exhibitors. There will not be access to hydro or water.
  4. All vendors/ exhibitors must provide their own equipment for their booth, including tablecloths, tables, canopies, tents, display stands, signs, etc. 
  5. Exhibitors and vendors are encouraged to provide free promotional materials, products or giveaways during the event.
  6. Set up and take down is as follows:

Set-up time: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Saturday, September 17
Tear-down time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Saturday September 17

  • Once signed, this document serves as a contract between the Exhibitor/Vendor and Kettle Creek Environmental Trust.

  • Material handling is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Staff and volunteers at Kettle Creek Environmental Trust are not responsible for loading, unloading, transport or set up of visitor booths or displays.

  • The 10x10 space given to exhibitors/vendors may not be shared with outside companies or organizations without the approval of event management.

  • The exhibitor is soley responsible for their own liability and property insurance and assumes full responsibility of damages that could be caused at the event.

  • Absolutely no dismantling or take-down of any part of vendor/exhibitor booths before the event closes at 7:00 p.m.

    Insurance Requirements

    To participate in the Kettle Creek Food Truck Festival you MUST carry adequate liability insurance and provide proof of that insurance as required below. An Insurance Certificate must be provided to info@kettlecreektrust.com by August 22, 2022.

    Request a Certificate of Insurance from your Broker or Insurer which includes the following:

  • Your Company Name

  • Your Mailing Address

  • Your Policy Number and the Name of your Insurer

  • The Effective & Expiry Dates of the policy

  • Commercial General Liability insurance with a minimum limit of $2,000,000 (including Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability)

  • The following entities need to be listed as additionally insured for the event date of September 17, 2022:
    1. Kettle Creek Environmental Trust - 44015 Ferguson Line, St. Thomas, N5P 3T3 and;
    2. Kettle Creek Conservation Authority - 44015 Ferguson Line, St. Thomas, N5P 3T3;
    3. Municipality of Central Elgin - 450 Sunset Drive, St. Thomas, N5R 5V1

  • IMPORTANT!

  • An Insurance Certificate must be provided to info@kettlecreektrust.com by August 22, 2022.

  • Don't have insurance? Marsh Canada offers insurance for vendors which satisfies the minimum insurance requirements. Temporary coverage is available here.

    I hereby release and forever discharge Kettle Creek Environmental Trust, its agents and assigns, and their employees and volunteers from any and all actions, causes, claims and demands for damages, loss or injury, howsoever arising, which may hereafter be sustained, by myself, members of my family, our organizers, volunteers, staff, our equipment and property and of our organization and waive all rights thereto.
