Elgin- St. Thomas Children’s Water Festival
The Trust continually supports the Elgin- St. Thomas Children’s Water Festival. This Festival provides students in grades 2-5 with the opportunity to learn about the importance of water, through over 40 interactive activities that were developed around five themes: water protection, water science, water attitude, water technology and water conservation.

Environmental Youth Corps
KCET is proud to support Kettle Creek Conservation Authority’s Environmental Youth Corps (EYC). The EYC provides a unique opportunity for students to earn their volunteer hours while participating in hands-on environmental stewardship projects that help the Kettle Creek watershed. Program members will be assisting in tree planting, wildflower planting and bird box building, environmental monitoring trail maintenance and invasive species removal.
